An issue with suspended solids fouling 4 heating systems in a District Housing building. Particles including rust and corrosion creating blockages in heat exchangers and affecting performance. Also experiencing a increase in breakdowns and costly repairs.
Solution
4 separate units were required, one for each heating system.
The IWF Vortek Side Stream Filter is perfect for closed loop, LTHW systems. Able to filter to 1 micron, this system will remove all suspended solids leaving a rust and corrosion free heating system, resulting in improved performance and a reduction in downtime due to breakdowns.
