Application
Side-stream filtration was required for the removal of fine suspended solids. There were several different systems on this site, the client required a mobile system to allow the filter to be moved from from one site to the next.
Solution
The IWF Velocitek OVF Side Stream Filter was the perfect for filtration of fine suspended solids which if unfiltered can build-up in areas of low flow velocity and cause issues with flow and heat-transfer in LTHW systems. Able to filter to 1 micron, this system will remove all suspended solids leaving a rust and corrosion free heating system, resulting in improved performance and a reduction in downtime due to breakdowns.
