Bespoke build Vortek Duplex Flushing Rig
Location – Dairy Production food manufacturing plant, Yorkshire.
Application – Filtration of suspended solids and oil in a Closed Loop Hot Water system

Application
An issue with suspended solids and traces of oil in the closed loop hot water system were causing system fouling and component damage.
With flow rates of 25m3/hr and filtration grade of 5micron required, our client could not find a suitable “off the shelf” product to tackle this mix of suspended solids.
Solution
Combining our knowledge of this sector and extensive knowledge of filtration technology solutions, we were able to design and build a product to meet our clients specific requirements.
Combining our Vortek product onto a special build duplex flushing rig alongside oil absorbent filters, we were able to achieve filtration of suspended solids and traces of oil to 5 micron.
This solution provides protection to the boilers and system components, reduces running costs and maintenance costs whilst also improving system performance.
